Valynn M. Kuhns celebrates 30 years of success in career
CENTREVILLE, VA, September 3, 2010 /United States PR News/ -- Valynn M. Kuhns, Program Manager for the United States Navy, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in management.
With 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Kuhns attributes her success to her parents, military experience and the support she receives from her mentors and close friends. As a program manager, she is responsible for initiating and planning projects, working with developers and information technology systems, and managing the software development life cycle. Prior to joining the Department of the Navy, she served as Chief Warrant Officer - 4 for the United States Marine Corps, and was awarded the Legion of Merit in 2007.
Ms. Kuhns completed her Advanced Program Management Masters Certificate at Villanova University in December 2009. In 2008, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Program Management from American Intercontinental University. A Project Management Professional, she is also a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League and the Military Officers Association of America.
