SAN DIEGO, CA, February 1, 2012 /United States PR News/ -- Dr. Eva J. Young, Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
Dr. Young has been a devoted educator of countless students over a timespan of more than five decades. Throughout her career, she has become well-versed in the areas of research, development, consulting, psychology and management. Dr. Young has served as a professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for the past 15 years. She teaches psychology, leadership, management, aviation and aerospace classes to students seeking careers in the aviation, aerospace, and engineering-related fields. Furthermore, Dr. Young works with graduate recruitment and thesis programs. She attributes her success to her caring nature towards others.
After attaining an associate degree in education from Bemidji State University, Dr. Young attained a Bachelor of Arts in education from Chapman University in 1960. She went on to earn a master's degree in woman's education and Spanish language in 1966 and a Ph.D. in human behavior, leadership and management from United States International University in 1983. Dr. Young holds lifetime credentials in teaching and administration in the state of California, credentials in psychology, teaching and administration in the state of Arizona, and a teaching credential in the state of Minnesota. Dr. Young looks forward to retirement in the near future, and plans to continue volunteering at her local school and write scholarly articles. She also aspires to open a cake shop.
